I seek to offer a calming, non-judgemental environment, to explore with you the difficulties you are facing. I will support you through individual therapy to find ways to cope, or bring about the change you’d like.
I draw on my training in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy and use it in a way that is helpful to you. There is no right or wrong way to experience lifes’ challenges and I work with each person as the individual they are. This may involve short or long term therapy (as agreed together).
I began my working life in Primary Education Dance and Community Arts with children and teenagers. Although I don’t directly work in this area anymore, it has given me rich experience and insight to carry throughout life and work. I love being creative and where relevant I use creative resources with clients to help them express feelings and make meaning of their experiences. I also tune into bodily experience too, our felt sense of of what is happening in and around us.
I have personal and professional experience of Autism & ADHD and I understand that people may need adjustments and flexibility for therapy to be accessible to them. The same philosophy goes for those dealing with chronic health conditions. My aim is to work with you to reduce barriers, validate your needs, and respect your limitations.
